Man United vs Chelsea

Manchester United host Chelsea in a must-win tie on Sunday.

United head into the game in 6th place, three points behind 4th place.

Arsenal and Tottenham have already lost this weekend so beating Chelsea would be a huge boost for the Reds’ Champions League hopes.

However, should they lose to Maurizio Sarri’s men, they will be six points off the top four with just two league games remaining.

Pereira’s rallying cry

Neither side heads into the game in particularly impressive form but United’s is worse than Chelsea’s

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have lost three of their last five league outings.

As a result, United midfielder Andreas Pereira has sent a message to his teammates ahead of the crucial clash.

Pereira branded the game a must-win and called for unity in the squad:

“It’s a must-win.

“We have to show we want the top four and, in these games, we have to show our level and show we are worthy to be in the Champions League.

“We want to do everything we can to get into the top four. We have to take each game on its own and get the three points.

“We have to stick together as a team and work together and try to get the three points in each game.”As quoted by the Evening Standard.
