Arsenal injury updates on Bellerin, Ceballos & Kolasinac before Frankfurt

Arsenal in need of a confidence-boosting result

Arsenal have issued injury updates on Dani Ceballos, Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac ahead of their Europa League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.

It’s been a very difficult start to the campaign for Unai Emery.

The Gunners have struggled to gain any momentum in the Premier League.

Arsenal have actually struggled so much that they are winless in their last five league games.

In that time, Arsenal have suffered losses to Sheffield United and Leicester, while drawing with Crystal Palace, Wolves and Southampton.

That has seen Unai Emery’s future thrown into doubt, with the Spaniard now facing the sack.

According to reports, Arsenal’s backroom staff are expecting Emery to go and are just awaiting official confirmation.

Though, the Gunners have actually performed decently in the Europa League.

Unai Emery’s side are unbeaten in the group stage, winning three games and drawing one.

Now, ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Eintracht Frankfurt, the Gunners have provided an injury update.

Kolasinac & Bellerin worries, Ceballos ruled out

In an injury report on their official website, Arsenal have revealed both Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac will be assessed ahead of the game on Thursday.

Starting with Ceballos though, Arsenal explain that the Spaniard is ‘aiming to return to full training mid-December’.

That could see him in contention for the clash with Manchester City on the 15th.

Meanwhile, both Kolasinac and Bellerin could be early doubts for the Eintracht Frankfurt game.

According to Arsenal’s report, Kolasinac returned from international duty with a tight hamstring and will be assessed.

Bellerin also has a tight hamstring and will need to be checked over before Thursday.

While it’s too early to say if they will miss out, it’s not exactly welcome news for Unai Emery.
