Arsenal team news for Bournemouth: Latest on Bellerin, Ozil, Martinelli & more

Arsenal have this evening provided a fitness update on the club’s squad, ahead of their upcoming meeting with Bournemouth.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal

The Gunners are set to visit the Vitality stadium on Thursday afternoon, for a Premier League clash.

The matchup will come as Arsenal’s first with Mikel Arteta on the club’s bench, following the Spaniard’s appointment at the Emirates last week.

Fans of the north Londoners, meanwhile, will no doubt be hopeful of their new boss having an immediate impact, amid a desperate run of form.

Incredibly, Arsenal have managed just a solitary win in their last 13 outings across all competitions, versus West Ham two weeks ago.

The capital giants’ last outing, a trip to Goodison Park this past weekend, saw interim boss Freddie Ljungberg oversee a drab 0-0 draw.

Ozil available, Martinelli in doubt

Arsenal’s dismal form of late, while inexcusable, could at least in some part be attributed to a lengthy list of injury absentees at present.

The likes of Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney, Rob Holding, Sead Kolasinac, Dani Ceballos and more have all been sidelined of late with respective fitness concerns.

Ahead of his side’s trip to Bournemouth, though, Mikel Arteta has today been handed some respite on the personnel front.

Mesut Ozil is available for selection once again, with both Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin also in contention to feature at the Vitality.

Elsewhere, Dani Ceballos has made a return to training, though Gabriel Martinelli has emerged as a late doubt for Thursday.

Arsenal’s full list of injury updates is detailed below:

Hector Bellerin
