Manchester United vs Everton
Everton’s latest clash will see them travel to Manchester United on Sunday the 15th of December.
The Toffees put an end to their dismal run of form last weekend when they comprehensively beat Chelsea by three goals to one.
However, despite the impressive victory over Chelsea, Everton’s league position is somewhat embarrassing given the players they have.
The Merseyside powerhouse will begin the weekend’s Premier League action 14th in the table, just two points adrift of the relegation zone.
As for Manchester United, they are up to 5th in the English top-flight after earning wins over Tottenham and Manchester City in their last two ties.
Ferguson to remain in charge vs Man United
Heading into the tie with Man United, Everton currently do not have a permanent boss.
Duncan Ferguson was in the dugout to mastermind the Toffees’ victory over Chelsea last Saturday.
And after Everton’s emphatic win over Chelsea, it appears the club are happy to persist with Ferguson being in charge, for the time being.
Everton released an official statement on Wednesday, which confirmed that Duncan Ferguson will remain as caretaker boss for the trip to Man United.

But while Everton seem to be happy to stick with Ferguson for now, their search for a permanent boss has reportedly led them to former Napoli manager, Carlo Ancelotti. Sky Sports News reported recently that Everton will begin contract talks with the Italian.
