Fantasy Premier League 2019/20 Gameweek 14: Three in, three out

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 14 kicks off on Saturday the 30th of November at 12:30 pm UK time when Newcastle play host to Manchester City.

Gameweek 14 will end on Sunday the 1st of December, with Everton traveling to Leicester and Manchester United hosting Aston Villa.

So, all of your transfers for GW14 need to be done by 11:30 am UK time on Saturday.

But if you are struggling to choose who to sign and who to sell this week, here are some tips.

Three in including Tottenham attacker

Heung-Min Son (9.4)

Since Jose Mourinho took the reins at Tottenham they have looked a much better side.

Granted Mourinho has only been in charge for two games and Spurs still look a bit shaky at the back but going forward, the North London outfit appear to be getting back to their best.

In Mourinho’s two games at the helm, the Lilywhites have found the back of the net seven times.

And with Tottenham taking on an out of form Bournemouth this weekend, it may be a good shout to have a Spurs attacker in your side.

Probably the safest option to bring in from Tottenham would be Heung-Min Son.

The South Korean scored one and assisted one vs West Ham last game week and he has also amassed the most points of any Spurs player on FPL so far this campaign.

Marcus Rashford (8.6)

Manchester United will play host to newly-promoted Aston Villa this game week.

United are much better at home this season, winning just one of their league ties away from Old Trafford.

And given Aston Villa don’t have the best defensive record this term, conceding 20 in 13, it may be wise to sign a United attacker for GW14.

One of the better options would likely be Marcus Rashford.

The England international has been in solid form for club and country lately and he has scored seven and assisted four in the PL so far this campaign.

This had made Rashford United’s highest earner on FPL this season.

Christian Pulisic (7.5)

Chelsea will play host to West Ham this weekend.

The Hammers are in absolutely terrible form and have failed to win a single one of their last seven league outings.

Part of the reason for that is their awful defensive record.

Since Roberto replaced an injured Lukasz Fabianski between the sticks for West Ham, they are yet to keep a single clean sheet.

So, with Chelsea boasting the 4th best attack in the PL, it is likely they will put a few past West Ham this weekend.

As a result, signing Pulisic or indeed pretty much any Chelsea attacker would be a smart decision this week.

Three out including Man City attacker

Sergio Aguero (11.9)

Sergio Aguero has once again been one of Manchester City’s standout stars this season.

However, the Argentine suffered an injury in City’s win over Chelsea last weekend.

Then before Man City faced Shakhtar earlier this week, Pep Guardiola claimed Aguero could be out for a few weeks.

As a result, you would be better served selling Aguero and signing Gabriel Jesus, if you wish to keep a Man City forward. Or you could sign someone like Jamie Vardy who has been in great form of late.

Joel Ward (4.5)

Crystal Palace are generally a midtable side in the PL and as a result, some of their players, especially their defenders, usually provided decent budget options.

One of those options this campaign was Joel Ward at just 4.5.

However, not only are the Eagles in pretty terrible form, losing four of their last five, but Ward is also now injured.

Roy Hodgson confirmed on Thursday that Ward’s injury sustained last weekend will keep him out for a number of weeks.

John McGinn (5.9)

John McGinn had a fairly bright start to the 2019/20 season and at his original price of 5.5, looked an attractive budget option.

However, while the Scotsman’s form hasn’t really declined much, his goal contributions have.

McGinn has now provided just one assist and no goals in his last six league appearances for Villa.

As a result, you may be better served cashing in on McGinn and signing someone like Youri Tielemans or Mason Mount.
