Fantasy Premier League 2019/20 Gameweek 16: Three in, three out

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 16 kicks off on Saturday the 7th of December at 12:30 pm UK time, when Everton play host to Chelsea.

Gameweek 16 will end on Monday the 9th  of December, with Arsenal traveling to West Ham.

So, all of your transfers for GW16 need to be done by 11:30 am UK time on Saturday.

But if you are struggling to choose who to sign and who to sell this week, here are some tips.

Three in including Tottenham midfielder

Dele Alli (8.6)

The back end of the 2018/19 campaign and the beginning of the current season were not so good for Dele Alli.

The midfielder was really struggling for form and has not even made it into the last few England squads with the likes of Mason Mount and James Maddison taking his spot.

However, since the arrival of Jose Mourinho at Tottenham, Alli looks to have been given a new lease of life.

In Mourinho’s three league games at the helm for Spurs, Alli has netted three and provided one assist.

Alli also bagged himself a goal in Tottenham’s recent Champions League win over Olympiacos.

And with Tottenham at home to Burnley this game week, there is a good chance Alli will be amongst the goals again.

The Englishman is also fairly cheap at 8.6.

Jamie Vardy (10.0)

Jamie Vardy has been a feature of these articles on many occasions already this season.

But if you don’t have the Leicester City striker in your side by now you really, really should.

Not only is Vardy currently the top forward on FPL but he is also the highest-scoring player overall on FPL this campaign.

The veteran striker has bagged himself 14 goals in the league already this season as well as providing four assists.

And with high-flying Leicester taking on Aston Villa this weekend, another Vardy goal contribution certainly looks on the cards.

Marcus Rashford (8.8)

The final player you could look to bring in this week is Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.

Rashford is currently the 3rd best forward on FPL with his recent form particularly impressive.

In his last seven league outings, Rashford has bagged himself six goals and provided three assists.

And while Man United are away to Man City this week, Pep Guardiola’s side haven’t exactly been the best at the back recently and even if United are beaten, there is a good chance they will score.

Three out including Chelsea attacker

Andy Robertson (7.1)

Andy Robertson is one of the most expensive defenders currently on FPL.

However, despite going undefeated so far this season in the league, Liverpool aren’t too sturdy at the back.

In fact, Liverpool are without a clean sheet in their last eight Premier League clashes.

So, given his hefty price-tag, you may be better served selling Robertson for someone like Leicester’s Caglar Soyuncu who is currently just 5.1 and has more points than the Scotsman.

Charlie Taylor (4.2)

In recent weeks Charlie Taylor started to look an attractive budget defender.

Taylor started as Burnley beat both Watford and West Ham United 3-0.

However, the defender was then injured vs Crystal Palace and missed the Clarets’ last tie vs Manchester City.

Sean Dyche would then confirm on Thursday that Taylor is a doubt for the weekend.

Willian (7.1)

The final player you should look to sell this week is Willian.

Granted Chelsea have been excellent going forward for much of this campaign so selling one of their wingers may seem a bit odd, especially one that plays pretty much every week.

But despite his regular game-time in a solid Chelsea attack, Willian’s goal contributions haven’t been too great this season.

The Brazilian has scored just two and assisted three in the PL this term.
