Could Bale one day return to Spurs?
Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has opened up on what he thinks about Jose Mourinho’s move to former club Tottenham.
Mourinho was appointed as the Spurs manager a couple of weeks ago following the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino.
After Tottenham’s very poor start to the season, Daniel Levy decided to pull the trigger, despite Pochettino guiding Spurs to the Champions League final in May.
Since Mourinho has taken over, Spurs have won all three of their games, scoring 10 goals.
Mourinho’s only concern right now is his defence, as Tottenham have also shipped 6 goals during those three wins.
Now, former Spurs man Gareth Bale has been speaking about Mourinho’s move to north London.

“I don’t think there’s a better partnership than Mourinho and Tottenham…”
Speaking ahead of Spurs’ clash with Manchester United, Bale described Mourinho as ‘a serial winner’.
‘Having Mourinho there is an amazing statement from the club, I think he’s a serial winner,’ Bale explained. BT Sport.
‘Tottenham want to win trophies and I don’t think there’s a better partnership than Mourinho and Tottenham together to try and win some trophies.’
Interestingly, this comes shortly after reports suggested Bale was on a short-list of players Mourinho wants to sign.
However, contradicting reports have suggested there will be no funds for Mourinho in January, and Fernandes has recently signed a new contract with Sporting.
While it doesn’t look possible right now, you can’t rule out a return for Bale.
