Liverpool vs Sheffield United
Thursday’s only Premier League clash sees Liverpool taking on Sheffield United.
Liverpool will head into the tie with a commanding lead atop of the Premier League.
2nd place Leicester, who won on Wednesday, are 10 points adrift of the Reds with Liverpool also having two games in hand on the Foxes.
The Merseyside powerhouse are also yet to lose a single league game this campaign, drawing just one of their previous 19 PL outings.
However, despite their superb form, Sheffield United should prove a tough test for the European champions.
The recently-promoted outfit have had a superb first half of the season and are even in with a shout of clinching a Europa League spot, come the end of the season.
The Blades have conceded just 19 goals in 20 PL ties this term. Only Liverpool currently boast a better defensive record in the English top-flight this campaign.

Klopp on Liverpool’s injured stars
Ahead of the Sheff United clash, Jurgen Klopp held his pre-match press conference on Wednesday.
During the presser, Klopp gave an update on Liverpool’s injured players.
As can happen around the busy festive period, Liverpool are dealing with a fair few fitness issues.
On Tuesday, Klopp would speak about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Joel Matip, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Dejan Lovren.
The German would confirm that the aforementioned stars are all looking good, however, they are not ready yet:
“[They are] all in a good way but from the longer-term injuries there is nobody back.
“[They] are doing more pitch sessions, running and stuff like that. Ox looks good, Joel looks good, Fabinho looks good, Shaqiri looks good [and] Lovren looks good, but not ready.
“They need still some time, as we said before, so it will be the same group like the last game.” As quoted by Liverpool’s official website.
