Arsenal vs Tottenham
Arsenal hosted Tottenham in Sunday’s late Premier League kick-off.
Neither side headed into the tie in particularly good form.
The Gunners had lost their last game to Liverpool while Tottenham were beaten 1-0 by Newcastle United.
Spurs’ will have likely not been glad to see that Unai Emery chose this game as the first time he would start a game with all of Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe.
However, despite Arsenal’s new-look attack, it would be Tottenham who took the lead on Sunday.
Erik Lamella managed to get a shot off, which Bernd Leno then failed to deal with.
Instead of trying to hold onto the ball or pushing it far wide, the German ended up pushing it right next to him, allowing Christian Eriksen to run straight onto the loose ball and put Spurs 1-0 up.
🤭 OH NO LENO!

After said goal, a worrying stat has emerged concerning both Arsenal and Bernd Leno.
Since the start of last season Arsenal have recorded 13 errors leading to goals in the Premier League, the most of any club in the English top-flight in that time.
Bernd Leno has committed six of those errors, the most of any PL player in this time.
