Man United & Fernandes
Bruno Fernandes is currently plying his trade in Portugal with Sporting CP.
The free-scoring midfielder is arguably one of the top talents in the Liga NOS.
The 25-year-old has netted 63 and assisted 51 in 135 outings across all competitions for Sporting.
And the 2019/20 campaign has been especially positive for the attacking midfielder.
In 26 games across all competitions for Verde e Brancos, Fernandes has scored 15 and assisted 13, a simply sensational goal contribution return for a midfielder.
Rather unsurprisingly, given his scintillating form, Fernandes has been linked with a move to the Premier League recently.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with the Sporting standout over the last few weeks with it even being claimed he could be present for United’s clash with Liverpool on Sunday.

However, it appears United’s supposed move for Fernandes has hit a bit of a snag.
According to the Guardian, the Red Devils have baulked at Sporting’s valuation of Fernandes, which the Guardian claim to be £68m.
Instead, the Manchester powerhouse are understood to value the midfielder at closer to £38m plus add-ons.
The report from the Guardian then claims that Man United will end their interest in Fernandes unless Sporting move closer to a fee United believe to be realistic.

Liverpool vs Man United
As mentioned above, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are set to take on Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
United head into the tie with a great chance to close the gap on the top-four after Chelsea dropped points on Saturday.
Liverpool also have the opportunity to further extend their commanding lead atop of the English top-flight with 2nd place Manchester City being held by Crystal Palace on Saturday.
