Manchester United & Inter Milan ‘agree’ Alexis Sanchez deal, financials revealed

Manchester United & Inter Milan agree Alexis Sanchez deal

With just a few days remaining in the European transfer window, Man United have agreed to get rid of Alexis Sanchez.

Was Man United’s deal to sign Sanchez from Arsenal one of the worst pieces of business in Premier League history?

Alexis has been an unmitigated failure at Old Trafford.

Previously considered one of the best in the league, Sanchez only scored three goals for the Red Devils.

The Chilean is now poised to return to Serie A to sign for Inter Milan.

What are the terms of the Alexis Sanchez deal?

Inter Milan have agreed to loan Alexis Sanchez from Man United.

However, it’s also highly likely that Sanchez will return to Old Trafford when the term of the agreement expires.

As confirmed in the Guardian:

Sanchez’s loan is believed to be for 10 months and Inter do not have an option to buy.

How much will Inter Milan pay to sign Sanchez?

The Guardian also confirm the following financial details of the Alexis Sanchez loan transfer:

The Serie A club will pay £175,000 of Sanchez’s £390,000 weekly salary.

To be clear, Man United will have to stump up the rest of the cash.

When will the Alexis Sanchez deal be confirmed?

The Guardian note that Sanchez is set to have his Inter Milan medical today.

One assumes that as soon as that’s completed, the clubs will confirm the transfer.
