Super agent Mino Raiola has confirmed that Paul Pogba is not pushing for a January departure from Manchester United.
United exit links
Speculation surrounding the future of Red Devils star man Pogba was rife all summer.
On the back of a hit-and-miss campaign last time out, during which the Frenchman again proved himself to be one of the most infuriatingly-inconsistent players in world football, Pogba was heavily-targeted by the United faithful on the final day of the season:

As such, the growing tension between the 26-year-old and the Red Devils, coupled with Real Madrid’s public chase of a superstar midfield addition, resulted in Pogba being hotly-tipped to make a move to the Bernabeu.
The former Juventus man’s agent, Mino Raiola, meanwhile, added fuel to the fire regarding a potential summer exit from Old Trafford for his client back in July, in admitting:
‘Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes.’
‘Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.’
‘Good with them’
In the end, however, upon the European transfer deadline passing in September, Pogba remained a Manchester United player.
This has not, though, put an end to the speculation surrounding his future.
Recent reports stemming from Spain have pushed the suggestion that the World Cup winner is angling for a move away from Old Trafford.
And the fact that Pogba has made just 2 appearances since September, amid persistent fitness issues, has done little to dampen such claims.
As a result, speaking during an interview with Sky Sports earlier today, Mino Raiola was inevitably drawn on his client’s plans for the January transfer window.
The notorious agent, though, was keen to assure that Pogba ‘will not move, and that’s okay’:
‘Paul has always respected Manchester United just as Manchester United has also always respected Paul.’
‘And the only one that talks for Manchester United and for Paul is Ole, because he comments in the paper and in the press.’
‘I go by what he [Solskjaer] says. He [Pogba] will not move, and that’s okay. We are good with them.’
‘Paul is a little bit struggling with his injury that we tried to resolve and I think that’s our main interest now.’
‘So if Ole has ideas about my player and he wants to talk to me about it, he knows my number. And until that moment I talk with Ed Woodward, because that’s the person that I talk to at the club. I never spoke with Ole.’
‘So I don’t know. I only know that Paul respects him, loves him for what he has done in the past with him. And that’s it, that’s the only thing I know about Ole.’
