Real Madrid draw with PSG
Real Madrid played host to PSG on Tuesday evening in what was a must-win tie for the Spanish powerhouse.
Madrid’s 2019/20 Champions League hadn’t exactly got off to a great start and as a result, they found themselves chasing PSG for top spot in Group A.
So, with two games left to play, Real new they needed to win their final two ties, including the PSG clash and then hope PSG lost their remaining CL game.
Things got off to a pretty promising start for Los Blancos vs the Ligue 1 champions as Karim Benzema fired them into the lead with 17 minutes on the clock.
The Frenchman then doubled Real Madrid’s lead with 11 minutes of normal time left to play.
However, Madrid bottled their lead with PSG bringing the tie back to 2-2.
Madrid are now unable to top Group A. But they have at least qualified for the Champions League last 16 now.

Eden Hazard update
As well as throwing away a two-goal lead, Madrid lost Eden Hazard to injury 68 minutes in on Tuesday.
Real Madrid have since provided an update on the Belgian.
Madrid claim Hazard has undergone tests on Wednesday and the winger has been diagnosed with an external bruise on his right leg:
After the tests carried out today on our player Eden Hazard by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a external bruise on his right leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed.

While Madrid didn’t give a time frame on how long Hazard will need to be out for, the injury doesn’t sound too bad.
