Sheffield United ready to sign Ravel Morrison
Ravel Morrison appears to be on the verge of returning to the Premier League.
A free agent following his spell at Swedish club Ostersunds, Morrison has been training with the Blades for the last couple of weeks.
The former Man United graduate appears to have impressed during his trial.
Indeed, reports are now swirling that Sheffield United are ready to agree a deal with Morrison.
I understand Sheffield United have seen enough to enter contract talks with Ravel Morrison. The former Manchester United youngster has impressed Chris Wilder & co during his trial period. With attitude as well as talent. Something seems imminent there. #SUFC

When will Sheffield United sign Ravel Morrison?
According to the Sheffield Star, the deal may be completed imminently. Readers are told:
Sheffield United are understood to have entered into contract negotiations with free agent Ravel Morrison, after the former Manchester United starlet impressed during initial trial training sessions with the Blades.
Should Morrison sign-on, he’ll be the fourth new addition at Bramall Lane this summer.
Luke Freeman, Phil Jagielka and Callum Robinson have already signed for the Blades.
Brighton battle Blades in Sander Berge race
Sheffield United have also been linked with Genk midfielder Sander Berge.
Belgium paper Het Laatste Nieuws claim that the Blades have also tried to sign Berge, however the midfielder has rejected the offer.
Why? Because Berge is “aiming higher” than Sheffield United, say HLN.
Could that mean Berge ends up signing for Brighton?
HLN note that Brighton are considering making a move for the Norwegian international.
Sander Berge (21) has snubbed Sheffield United. Club enquired with the midfielder, #SUFC with KRC Genk, but Berge has bigger ambitions. Genk want around £22.5m for the Norvegian international. pic.twitter.com/pauY4nbA79
