Astana vs Man United
Manchester United will travel to Astana on Thursday for their penultimate Europa League group tie.
The Red Devils have already secured their spot in the next phase of the EL after comprehensively beating Partizan 3-0 earlier this month.
But top spot in Group L is still very much up for grabs.
United currently occupy said spot after amassing 10 points from their opening four outings.
However, 2nd place AZ Alkmaar have earned themselves eight points, meaning they can knock United off top spot should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side lose on Thursday and AZ Alkmaar win.
That outcome seems pretty unlikely though.
Astana have yet to earn a single point in the Europa League this term. They have also scored just one goal and conceded 14 in those four clashes.
Three players set to debut
With Man United’s qualification already secured and fairly weak opposition in front of them, it seems Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to ring in the changes on Thursday.
As per Manchester United’s official Twitter account, Solskjaer has named four of the players that will start vs Astana.
Those players are Lee Grant, Ethan Laird, Di’Shon Bernard and Dylan Levitt.

While Grant is an experienced shot-stopper and has featured for Man United’s first-team once before, Laird, Bernard and Levitt are all youngsters who are yet to debut for United’s senior side.
