Lo Celso’s omission was expected as the midfielder is currently on vacation following the Copa America.

After playing for Argentina, who beat Chile to finish third, Lo Celso has been on holiday with his family.

In a recent post on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Lo Celso revealed he’s at Disney with his wife.

Previously, the pair had been relaxing at the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Juan Foyth frees up space in Tottenham’s squad

It’s been confirmed on Tuesday that Tottenham have freed up a spot in their 2019-20 Champions League squad for a new foreign player.

Argentine defender Juan Foyth will now be included in UEFA’s B-list. As reported by reporter Alasdair Gold:

Football.london contacted UEFA and having joined Tottenham in August 2017 and born on January 12, 1998, Foyth can now be entered on the club’s B list.

That in turn opens up a foreign player spot on the main A list for a new signing.

So will Tottenham sign Lo Celso?

When that issued was analysed on Sky Sports on Tuesday, reporter Michael Bridge confidently predicted that Lo Celso will end up at Spurs.

Michael Bridge also claimed that Mauricio Pochettino is looking at play Lo Celso in tandem with Christian Eriksen.

It’s also worth noting that the Sun believe Lo Celso could sign for Spurs at a discount rate.

The midfielder, 23, who is under contract until 2023, has been linked with a cut-price £45m deal.
